YOUR GUIDE: I am Mohamed Zaki, a Berber man from the High Atlas Mountains inMorocco. I live in a small village located at an elevation of more than 2000m. I was licensed to be a mountain guide in 1992, with advanced training inFrance. Since then, I have led tours throughout my country – in the mountains, theSahara desert, and imperial cities. I specialize in trekking, cultural tours and bird watching. I have guided French, American, and European groups. I speak Berber, Arabic, French, and English.
Holidays: Morocco offers a variety of wonderful experiences. The mountains cover a big part of the country. There are more than 3500km of coastline, and the entire south isSahara desert.Morocco is easy to reach fromEurope – only 3 hours flying time. The smells, the lights, the sounds and the colours can take you many years back into history. That’s why vacations inMorocco are unique.
Trekking: Morocco has varied possibilities for hiking and trekking. As your guide, I will make all the arrangements for a stress-free and once-in-a-lifetime excursion. Treks can include 4-wheel drive vehicles, mules and/or camels. And, of course, the walking is magnificent. Accommodations on the treks can vary – from quaint inns to tents. And the food is prepared professionally.
Birding:Morocco has a unique variety of native and migratory birds. The different environments offer a range of bird habitats - the Atlas and Rif mountains, plains,Sahara desert and coast. Moussier’s redstarts,Barbary partridges and Levailliant’s woodpeckers are in low valleys and slopes. Crimson-winged finches, shore larks and lammergeiers inhabit the high mountains. In the desert, we can easily find desert warblers, houbara bustards and sand grouse. The coastal area north of Agadir is a good location to see the only colony of bald ibis. Marbled ducks and black crowned chagra frequent theMassaRiver. During our tours, it is possible to see more than 200 different species.

PRICES AND CALENDER: We visit the south and the high Atlas in the migration periods. The most migrating birds cross Morocco and aim the Gibraltar's strait before reaching Europe. The first dates are at the end of winter and the beginning of spring, the second party is in late summer and the autumn. The prices include, the guide services, half broad in comfortable hotel, transport and transfer from the airport and picnics lunch.
The flaying ticket, drinks, extras and insurance are not included in this price.
The group size is 6 persons to 12. If the group is less than 6; a supplement must be added to the mean price.
